Here at Focalpoint & Digital-Pix we can organise a variety of training to suit you or your group or organisation.

Practical Photography Sessions:

Between us we have extensive experience in a diverse range of photography genre, most obviously wildlife with special expertise in bird photography, both using DSLRs and Digiscoping. We also have expertise in portraiture, both Studio and Location Photography. We also have staff experienced in various other genres of photography, so complete our enquiry form or give us a call to see what we can do to help you improve. We can tailor practical training to suit your specific needs from half/full day sessions to courses ranging over several days.
As well as training in taking photographs we can also provide training in printing and mount cutting.

Software Training:

We can provide a number of options on a range of software applications, these can be arranged either here at our farm location or we can come to you.
We tailor our training to suit both beginners and experienced users, this can cover the general use of computers including program installation and customisation, use of email clients, surfing the web safely and Microsoft Office applications.

Our specialisation is in the use of Adobe photographic software, in particular Photoshop, all variants from CS to CS4, Elements versions 4-7 and Lightroom 2. This training is tailored to suit all abilities and needs, and covers the essentials of importing images, choosing the right formats for saving & resizing images, through to using layers and raw processing to the more complex subjects of HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images.

These courses can be arranged either on a half/full day basis or to a series of 2 hour sessions and can be done on a one to one or small group basis.
